The day before the big day!!!
I can't remember much of this day other than we moved VERY slow. My fiancé got home (along with many others) at 4:15am so he did not get out of bed until noon haha
Time started to FLY by at this point. My MOH and I attempted to get a blowout but were unsuccessful. We stopped in the Flamingo salon. We were initially quoted $65 which sounded good to me. When I sat down, the stylist told me $125 which I was NOT going to pay.
We ended up all just going to the pool and hanging out. I initially wanted to rent a cabana but because we were all moving so slow, we ended up only at the pool for 1.5 hours. I was very conscious at the pool as I did not want any tan lines. None the less it was really fun!
Platinum Kil@wat - A: First, Kimberly at Platinum is AMAZING! I will write more about her later. Our meet & greet was originally supposed to be at the Stir Lounge but Kimberly called and asked me I was ok with moving it. At first I was bummed but looking back, I love how casual it was. They closed the pool and restaurant for our party.
Our ceremony/reception was contracted for 55 people and we ended up with 45 so Kimberly let us move some of our money over the meet and greet which was awesome! We were also able to do happy hour pricing on all food and drinks. We had far fewer people show up than we estimated. In fact, my whole FH family decided not to come and go to a show instead (one of the only disappointments of the weekend only due to the look of sadness on my FH face). With that, we had paid MUCH more for drinks than we had reached so Kimberly let us have an open bar for the last hour which was so fun! The bartender was making scooby snacks for our guests and whiskey shots. I also wanted some wine and drinks that were not at the tiki bar and they brought them all up for me.
Sweet Tea Photography - A+: A family friend took some night photos for us as they were super important to me. I didn't end up going to as many places as I had hoped but she captured some great photos. I can't wait to see them all!
