Ceremony -Only- venue? (w.o reception)

Hi! I'm from the MIA, and we're looking for a venue that you can rent just for the ceremony alone. I've done a lot of research and so far the ones I've found (The Cruz Building, Deering Estate, Viscaya, etc) are very expensive ranging from $4k- $12k. Most venues in Miami require the reception and also either a very high minimum food & beverage or high guest count (The Palms, Doral Country Club, etc). We are on a tight budget so we're looking for a venue that fits our needs of just being able to rent, and at a good price.

I imagine neither of you are religious and this is why? Have you tried looking into booking a hotel and just telling them you're renting the space for a meeting and won't require any F&B.

Curious as to why you'd want your reception space to be in a different location than the ceremony. Considering you're not looking for a religious space, you'd obviously want to thank your guests for attending your wedding ceremony in the form of some kind of refreshment. Odd.
