So my husbands large group (about 12) of married friends (whom we had gone to their weddings and purchased nice gifts for them) told my husband before our wedding they were going to pull their money together and purchase us a larger gift. They asked what we liked and my hubby said camping stuff. Well...now the wedding is over and we recieved nothing (not even a card) from the group of friends who were pulling together to get us a gift. My hubby and I are very confused as to what happened and we both aren't sure how to approach this situation.
We looked at our registry and is says that a bunch of camping stuff has been purchased but we never recieved any of it. Something is just weird about the situation...what should we do?
We don't expect everyone to purchase us a gift; but this is just off canter for the group of friends that we didn't recieve anything from. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
