Reception entrance music?

FI and I have no interest in doing a "grand" entrance at our reception, especially not one that involves dancing. It's just not our style. Still, I guess there should be music playing when we enter, but I have no idea what. Suggestions? What songs did y'all use?

I can't remember, honestly. I'd have to go back to our DJ file. 

I remember I WANTED the theme song from Dallas because I thought it was awesome and hilarious. DH wanted something sentimental, so I let him pick whatever. That's probably why I don't remember.

We're doing our 'Entrance' to Everything is Awesome from the Lego movie. We aren't doing anything crazy, just music, everyone walks in and sits down.

This is one of those things that we're not even choosing because I am officially out of fucks to give. 

We're not doing a grand entrance either, or any wedding party announcements, or any of that. We're just walking in like normal people. (The big entrance thing is really just not our style). 

Since we're not doing a special entrance, I see no need for special music. The band will already be playing, so whatever song they're playing is fine for us to walk in to.

IF you don't want that, just have music playing during cocktail hour and walk in like any other guest.  You're the bride and groom, people know who you are.

This is what I would do.

whatever the DJ wants to play.  no need to pick a special song unless you want one.  Doesn't sound like you do, so let the DJ decide

We did announcements and everything. The WP really played it up, mostly driven by the BILs' love of pro wrestling entrances. "The Final Countdown" for the WP (it's what the Pistons enter to, that was a compromise from a wrestling song) then Emeli Sande "Next To Me" for us.

We are doing a Grand March. It'll be to the Space Jam theme song.

We used Hall & Oates " You make my dreams come true". Then we went directly into our first dance. No wedding party entrance.

We came in to "Get ready for this" by Unlimited 2.  It was the first thing we thought of that H and I both found acceptable.

We also considered our recessional song but ultimately decided not to double up on it but it'd be a good one: "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News (most commonly known from Back to the Future)

We wanted to use that too!!! We didn't know for what, but now I do! lol

Our WP walked in to "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks and the DH and I followed a few seconds after.

Our WP came into Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" and we came in with music from one of the Disney shows (epic entrance music, you wouldn't know it was Disney unless you've heard it before, Fantasmic! entrance song). It was the only "Disney" thing we had at our wedding

This is something I cared nothing about. Before I could finish asking FI if he had an opinion he was playing the theme song to "Top Gear" on his phone. Whatever makes him happy! If he would've said no, then we would've just told the DJ to play whatever.

We didn't do a grand march, just DH and I walking in. We came in to the Fox NFL theme song!! Mostly because everyone there knew my dad played in the NFL and we are pretty intense football fans. We didn't dance or do anything nuts as we walked in, we just... walked and smiled.

I couldn't remember for the life of me, so I looked it up: Joy to the World by Three Dog Night. It was the one song H chose, hence me not remembering.

We're coming in to Whiskey In The Jar by Metallica. Big fans. Hype-ass song. Should be fun.
