Squeeing/happy dancing in my office
Our venue is a place I've been in love with for years, and fortunately, FI loves it too. About a month ago, we put a date on hold, until we could make it there to tour and discuss numbers. They allow you to pencil something in, and not put a deposit down until another couple asks for it, at which point you're given 3 days to formalize. Well, the coordinator accidentally wrote down the wrong date for us, which happened to be a date that just wouldn't work (inflexible work commitment), and another couple put a hold on our date. Other dates available were a holiday weekend, or 2 months later. So we asked for that date back, but the other couple had priority. Anyway, just heard, they've backed out, so it's ours!!!! Slow time at work, good chance of nice weather, not a holiday weekend - June 11, 2016, I'm gonna dance all over you
