  • I think it's good to expose people to a not stereotypical trans. He's a brave guy.

  • Didn't watch it because that was my time to catch up on Vikings (my new most favorite show). There was way too much hype which spell Kardashianisk pimp out.

I want the man to be treated well and compassionately.  He is a human being and deserves to be treated respectfully, as we all do.  I just have to believe there was a shit ton of money involved and I'm just a bit skeptical of the motives.

I think a lot of us were skeptical before watching it. But you said you didn't watch it, so you really shouldn't be criticizing his motives when you didn't even watch it.

Diane Sawyer addressed the publicity stunt skepticism in the beginning of the interview. I fully believe he is being honest and genuine. And I think it's really telling that Kris didn't have any comment, while his two other wives did. If she were behind this, she would have had more air time, I suppose.

He is going to be the most famous transgendered person as of late. And I believe he's hoping to change the way society looks at transgendered individuals. It's something.

The only plug was for his reality show he his doing in the summer about his transition.

I watched this interview and was incredibly moved.  I admittedly watch the Kardashians and Bruce was always treated poorly, I just wanted to see him happy and doing something for him because he was always living for his family.

Someone on my Facebook said "Bruce Jenner, an unattractive man and a Fugly woman" I'm horrified, this is someone who goes to a liberal college with me and is studying to be an educator. Is that really the type of attitude you're going to have?  I have refrained from saying anything, but I am incredibly tempted.
