What bridesmaids dresses might go with this bouquet?

Hi everyone,

Here are examples of the colors I'm thinking of for the bouquet for my November (California) wedding. (Ignore the size differences.)

I haven't quite figured out what the bridesmaids bouquet will look like yet. I'm thinking that theirs will be similar - or may be lighter.

I'm thinking of getting these dresses for my 4 bridesmaids: DESSY 2894. Which of their colors would go well if I'm holding this bouquet?

  • What do you prefer? You could pick black, white (or cream, ivory, whatever), or purple dresses. But you could also pick a color on the opposite side of the color wheel so that they compliment each other but are colorful (if that's your thing. I prefer neutral colors).

  • I love Suede Rose & Orchid with it!!
Palomino and Frost are nice light, neutral options as well
  • I think Wild Berry would match really well! But a softer color like Suede Rose might make the flowers pop nicely!
  • Pretty much any shade of purple or pink. Also, gold would look really pretty and warm things up a bit.

You don't need to match perfectly. And further, you can show that photo to your florist as inspiration photo, but they can't guarantee a certain shade exactly unless you order silk. Real flowers are natural and exact shades can't be guaranteed.

  • Have you spoken to your BMs individually and privately about whether their budget allows for this dress and whether they'd feel comfortable in it? That's your first step.

  • My one recommendation is to take into consideration your brides hair color & skin tone. Like my sister with her hair color and skin tone does not carry green well, so I took that color off the table when we started looking at colors. And none of my BM would look good in orange. I don't know too many people that don't look in a dark purple or even black.

    Say what? Black?

OP, you can take people's skin tones into account, but unless your BMs all look exactly the same, this is a tall order to coordinate. If we were talking highlighter yellow or neon green here, I'd be on board with this comment, but we're talking black, purple, pink, gold... I mean, really?
