It went by entirely too fast...

Our wedding was this past Friday and it was AMAZING. The only thing I was truly worried about was our ringbearer (1 YO) crying through the entire ceremony, and he did not... he walked between his mom and dad (BM & GM) and giggled the whole way up the aisle and was quiet for the cousin who had him during the ceremony.

It went better than expected. Seriously. The flowers were amazing. The reverend was hilarious. The photographer as quick and fantastic. I can't help but smile when I think about it because there was really nothing for me to be upset about.

... except that it went by too fast. Ceremony and reception were approximately 7.5 hours, so it's not like it was a short day. Photos started around 3:30 PM (hair/makeup at 10:30 AM for me) and we ended just before 1 AM... so it was a LONG day. But I seriously felt like it flew by. So now I'm waiting for our pro pics and giggling at all of the pics our friends and family are posting.

Time to start TY notes before worrying about the honeymoon this upcoming week

It's crazy how fast it goes, isn't it? I mean, EVERYONE tells you that it's going to go by fast. And you're like "yeah, yeah, I know, everyone has told me." But really nothing prepares you for how fast it is actually going to go.

I got to the venue at 11AM the day of our wedding, set up with friends and family, started getting ready and taking pictures around 3PM, had the ceremony at 6PM, and then the reception went from 6:30 PM to 2:00 AM, which is longer than most receptions (and almost everyone stayed til 2 AM!). And even with that extra time, I still can't believe how fast it went. Over 2 months later and I still wish we could have our wedding every weekend - it was so much fun.

I also just got married, this past sunday, and Im glad im not the only one who feels this way. Im sad that it felt like everything happened in an hour Everything was so perfect that I wanted it to last forever! My H comforted me by saying that I still have to scrapbook aaaaaall the pictures we took and I can watch our wedding video every day as soon as we get it

Thanks ladies! It is so funny that everyone says it will go by fast... but you just don't realize what they mean until it actually happens.

I wish we'd hired a videographer to capture some of the day, but oh well!

I got married this past June. We started with events on Thursday night through Sunday evening. The entire weekend went by so quickly it's like it never happened!!!! I was sad for a while because it went so fast. Now it's been fun to look at our photos and remember it all!
