Receiving line?

We ended up doing a receiving line. It went really well I thought. It was pretty quick nobody really thought it was a good time to have a long chat, and we got to greet all of our guests. I had time to chat with almost everyone afterwards, too even without table visits. I thought the receiving line was nice though and it really was probably only 10 minutes.

best receiving line I was ever in was a building with a long hallway into the banquet hall where the signing book, card drop, seating charts etc were all laid out and drinks were served as we made our way through the recieving line and into the dining room.
