Just call me Sydney

Because that would be my name if I were born today.

For other decades, I got:

Christine (2000s), Wendy (1990s), Tracey (1980s), Dina (1970s--least fav), Louise (60s), Faye (50s), Nora (40s), Iris (30s), Essie (20s), Fay (10s), Cecelia (1900s--my fav!) and Lou (1890s).

What are yours?

disclaimer: revealing your actual name is not necessary.

Today it would be Victoria. I have mixed feelings about it. I think it's a pretty name (and I convinced my dad to name his Harley Victoria), but my sister had a douchey friend named Victoria so...meh.

2000's: Amanda. Also meh.; 1990's: Erica; 1980's: Emily, which surprised me because I was born in the 80's and my real name was very popular; 1970's: Linda; 1960's: Kim; 1950's: Bonnie; 1940's: Jean; 1930's: Rose; 1920's: Lucille; 1910's: Martha; 1900's: Eva; 1890's: Myrtle

I actually think I like Lucille best. Big Arrested Development fan.

Welp, wasn't expecting to get Serenity.

    Other decades:
Gabriela (2000s), Breanna (1990s), Brenda (1980s), Kelli (1970s), Becky (1960s), Louise (1950s), Gladys (1940s), Bessie (1930s), Blanche (1920s), Lola (1910s), Charlotte (1900s), and Susan (1890s).  I like the older ones.  I'd rock Gladys or Blanche.

I remember having at least one other person with my name in all my classes, but I don't remember too many Emily's so I wouldn't have minded being named that, lol. The saddest part was since I switched schools a few times, I was usually the encroaching one with that name, so the other girl or girls got to be Myname 1 and I was always Myname 2. Would have given anything to be the primary one.

Esperanza if I were born today.

2000s is Jaquelyn, 1990s Cami, 1980s Melynda, 1970s Marilee, 1960s Wilda, 1950s Ronni, 1940s Colene, 1930s Margorie, 1920s Russell, 1910s Lempi, 1900s Vinie, and in 1890 just call me Floretta.

So I'm guessing Fiona was super popular in 1986 is what they're saying? Oh it was number 711th in 1986 so no...not very popular.

Surnames and masculine names are BIG THINGS for girls names now.

One of the biggest jumps this year was Remington. For a girl. Like the Fucking Rifle.

Ugh. For EVERY decade from the 1890's through 1940, and AGAIN in the 60's I got Mary. Not a name I like- sorry to all the Marys out there.

I got my own name for the decade I was born in and the one prior(80's and 70's).

Jessica for the 90's- meh, Emily for the 2000's and Emma for today.

I like my own name the best of them all.

ETA: Fiance has a wide variety:

    1890's: Sylvester
    1900: Franklin
    1910: Dave
    1920: Clifton
    1930: Oliver
    1940: Sidney
    1950: Herman
    1960: Kerry
    1970: Greg (gag, ex's name)
    1980: Reginald
    1990: Hector
    2000: Mario
    2010: Kayden

    1980 Valerie
    1970 Laurie
    1960 Jacqueline
    1950 Charlotte
    1940 Josephine
    1930 Katherine
    1920 Nellie
    1910 Mamie
    1900 Nora
    1890 Nancy

Honestly, not particularly drawn to any of them. Probably Josephine would have to be my top choice, only because I loved "Little Women" when I was younger, and Jo was badass.

Born today, I'd be Ali and FI would be Logan. :) I don't remember what else was there.

I don't think it's a glitch with the program, all the girls getting boy names. I think it's a glitch in the original recording and then transcribing to computer.

Apparently I would be Annabeth, which actually kinda works since my siblings and I all start with "A".

ETA Fi would be Legend and poor FSS doesn't get a name since apparently it shows up fewer than 5 times in 2003, but if I use the full version of his name he would be Demarcus.
