Game of Thrones (possible spoilers!)

Where are my fellow GOT'ers?  What did you think of last night's episode?

I was REALLY hoping Theon/Reek would snap out of his craziness just in time, but alas....  he's still a punk.  That was a hard way to end the episode, too- left me feeling icky.

And I'm bothered by the head of the Sparrows- he was such a nice old man when we first met him- handing out soup to the poor, giving away his shoes, etc.- but he turned power-crazy real fast.

Things look like they're going to get real interesting in Dorn now, too.  I love the guy traveling with Jaime Lannister (Bronn? sp?)- his character is really, really funny.

Previews of next week look good, too- poor Jon Snow looks like he's in for a mutiny of sorts.  I really gotta read these books...

Re: Game of Thrones (possible spoilers!)

  • I was RAGING after what happened to Sansa. It was so uncomfortable. She had her beautiful wedding dress (but I couldn't like it because of Ramsey), her beautiful snowy wedding (but Ramsey tho) and then... ugh. I just kept hoping she had a knife under that dress. She's one of my absolute favorites, and what Ramsey did to her was unforgivable. I hope she comes back with a vengeance. The Boltons need to go.

I also don't think Baelish is siding with Cersei at all. He said he was loyal to the throne (or crown or king or idk) but he never said WHICH. He's going to go back to Stannis with enemy info. I'm also REALLY digging Stannis' character now, which is new for me. But the show started giving him more personality once he hit the Wall, and I'm enjoying the Stannis scenes.

I'm also really upset for Margeary, but it looks like we get to see more of her story next week, so I'm excited. Tommen needs to grow a pair. He's king, and like it or not, that's going to mean he's gotta get tough every once in a while. He doesn't deserve the manipulation from all sides, though. This is one of those rare situations where having Tywin around would have been great. Tywin was a grade A douchebag, but he was a GREAT leader.

I'm upset with Jorah. He's going to infect someone with that grey scale, I just know it. And I'm fairly certain it is going to kill him, leaving Tyrion as Dany's Westeros guy. She has to have someone in her party to tie her back into what's going on in the Seven Kingdoms or her plot seems to drift. Also Tyrion's argument last night had me laughing. Essentially - "DON'T KILL ME! MY DICK IS HUGE!"

Dorne is getting interesting. It looks like Prince Doran is NOT to be fucked with. I felt like the Sand Snakes were built up a little too much if they were going to be beat by a bunch of royal grunts, though. Jamie's getting taken hostage again... hopefully they do something really interesting with it. Myrcella and Trystane are SUPER cute. I loved her dress.

Also, Arya's plot is moving a bit slowly, which is a shame because I love her. I want all the Starks okay and happy again because this is just upsetting.

((TL;DR: I'm a GOT freak and I just have a lot of feelings.))

Yes, this.  I actually called him the "P" word as he sat there and watched them take his wife away.  So frustrating to watch him- I know he's a boy, but seriously?  You're KING now- man up!

FI was getting antsy during Arya's scenes- just too slow.  I guess if I had read the books I would understand that whole situation, and I'm sure it means a lot, but I just kind of want to get to that part already, lol.
  • I was not surprised that the Sparrow leader went power crazy really fast - religious fanatics are like that. He was leading a group that was kidnapping and beating up people even before he had any authority. Cerce obviously appointed him to use against House Tyrell. I did somewhat enjoy her mock surprise throughout the "hearing".

On Sansa, I was so sure she was going to pull a knife or that Reek was going to go nuts. Completely disappointed and sad Ramsey got away with it. Surely Ramsey has it coming soon, right?

I'm ok with Arya's story line moving a little slow.  It makes it feel more like me as the watcher is discovering things at the same pace as the character.

I feel really bad for Margery's brother, and just in general for whats going on there.  I'm really pissed that Tommen didn't stand up and do something.  I think if he could get up the nads to banish Cersei from King's Landing he would do better.

I'm not surprised by the Sparrow leader, I kinda knew that there was going to be trouble there.

I was laughing so hard about the dwarf penis stuff.  Tyrion could talk his way out of ANYTHING.

I kept hoping that someone was going to pull a knife and kill Ramsay.  I wanted that so hard.  I don't even care weather it was Sansa or Theon.  Someone needed to do it before Ramsay put his filthy hands on her.  I'm kinda mad at Little Finger for allowing it too.  I honestly feel really bad that Sansa has been in such shitty positions with her fiances/ husbands (Tyrion excepted).  She went through such abuse with Joffery and now she's stuck with Ramsay.

  • Poor Sansa.

It's so interesting the way things keep changing from the books. I'm certainly being kept on my toes! There are a few things that happen near the end of the book (s) that I'm hopeful will happen in the show. Good shocker moments.

Jorah and Tyrion - love them. I got very excited to see Mr Eko from LOST make an appearance last night!

I love Arya's story in the book, and while it is moving slowly, I still love seeing where they are taking her character.
