I just got a text that some friends are grilling out on Sunday. I offered to bring dessert. It'll be a group of about 15-20. I have so many ideas because I'm hungry and because the cupcake thread....

What should I make? And what is your favorite dessert/what are you craving right now?

Raspberry lemonade cupcakes sound both fun and festive. My second-choice would have been the sugar cookies.

RECIPE, please! I much prefer homemade brownies, but have never tried to make these from scratch because laziness.

I voted for rasp/lemon cupcakes, but only b/c I don't know what TrixKrispies are.  I have a feeling I need these in my life- please elaborate!

When I get home tonight, I'll find it. It's fairly easy...and yummy.

So Trix (the cereal) makes these things called Trix Mini's. They're like little balls versus the fruit shapes of normal Trix. I use those and a Rice Krispies recipe - just with Trix Mini's subbed for RK's. 

They're basically a child's birthday party snack with so much food coloring, my organs probably look like a rainbow....but I don't care. They're delish.

I make the krispie treats with Fruity Pebbles... probably tastes similar.  All that yummy, fruity goodness.

Those cheesecake brownies sound super yummy though.  I'd probably vote for those.

I'm conflicted. Strawberry shortcake with made fresh local berries and biscuits get my vote because it's such a small window of time for those fresh strawberries. But I've been thinking about the raspberry lemonade cupcakes since the cupcake thread.

I voted for turtles because, in reality, I want ALL OF THE DESSERTS. I'm currently on a strict no-sugar, no-processed-carbs kick, and I'm to the point where I think about desserts all the time. This did not help.

Strawberry shortcake is godly. But only when you make your own shortcake. Those little spongy packaged things are an abomination. 

My diet just failed. 

That one lasted 7 hours.

I am bringing dessert to a cook out on Monday so I am using this thread as inspiration. I did vote for strawberry shortcake because that's my favorite dessert.
