Wedding was on 8/18/12, Portland Maine
Turned out very well as the only dry day in maine for a while very beautiful and bright day.
Started well with MUA arriving on time and with help, Laurel Wiley based in Kennebunkport Maine did a very good job for us ladies. It did not matter the contrast on all the girls, mixture of white and black and brown. She was wonderful highly recommended and very cost friendly, worked very well with the trial and day of. Results stunning!!!!
Lilleys limousine, on time, only hitch no champagne or cider as had been paid for, no good explanation for it.
Church at St. Lukes Cathedral, wonderful wonderful, very good looking church for photos, very nice Deacon Rasner and organist Albert did very well allowing family to participate and working with them to a great service.
Reception at Seasons Event Center, Hall was nice, my centerpieces looked great, few complaints on dry chicken but steak was great and lasagna was great. Now drinks were a different issue, we had a cap that ran out in an hour, drink tickets were a horrible idea. This place you have to be careful and probably need to record when you go to check it out and have everything ironed out because at last minute we had to tell people to buy their own drinks, table linen we were told were available, last minute we had a bill of 1500 to get them from Boston. We did table name place card seating, it was reorganized but disorganized so badly, adults were seated in children tables, spouses were kept separate, it was a mess, it took professional partiers to get over that, but all in all we were happy to have family and friends come to enjoy our day with us, they made it all worthwhile and we had a great wedding day no regrets.
