There was a bad storm last night so DH and I didn't sleep very well and I also had a really really weird dream that I gave birth to a baby that had teeth, could walk, and talk. WTF. This is the second time I've had this dream!!!

Also this girl sitting next to me who obviously has a death wish...side eyed my caffeinated beverage this morning. This is how I feel about things this morning:

Besides all that nonsense, I'm going to an Infant CPR class tonight with @labro and we get to learn how to perform CPR on infants! DH has to work or else he would be going with me but he has to take CPR classes at work all the time so I'm not too worried about him.

@southernpeach89 - H took a CPR course at work, but we both want to take an infant/child CPR class.  And your co-worker can just go away.

Today I'm chilling in my classroom basically doing nothing cause it's the last day and I'm all packed up cause I'm an expert packer lol. Supposedly we can leave early today but I'm thinking 9:30 is pushing it a bit.

Did my first workout of the summer yesterday and didn't die so that's exciting! My stomach was a little weird afterwards but my stomach has been special needs since the c diff incident of 2013 sooo I'm keeping on keeping on. Plus I have a doctors appt tomorrow so if he thinks anything is weird he can tell me. Actually I have TWO doctors appts tomorrow (wellness and derm)

In other news, I once got H boxers with crabs (the animal that MD people really like to eat) and they literally have holes in them and he won't throw them out lol. Can anyone find some crab boxers for me?! My go tos (old navy and American eagle) don't have crabs this year

@Blue YAY to all the avocados!!! I hope that restaurant is noms. I talked to DH last night and he thinks that meeting for lunch one day should work out...we just need to go over everything with his parents to make sure they aren't planning things.

@TwoDimes YAY! Your invitations are out! I had to cancel my own invitations too....they sent me off in a corner by myself with the stamp.

Anyway, yesterday we got more details on the lightning strike. Apparently it hit a tree in our neighbor's front yard. I suppose all the electric discharge traveled through the tree roots and that's how we got affected. We also discovered another lighting casualty, our pond pump is dead dead dead so we need to buy a new one.

Today I have some annoying meetings. Hopefully work is quiet otherwise so I can mow the backyard before the grass gets too tall. And then I get to learn all about infant CPR!

I left @audrewuh's a little early last night because we were both exhausted. I got home last night at 9 and was like

When my alarm went off this morning for my workout, I was like

and slept in until FI's alarm went off an hour and a half later. I was still exhausted, and my period is all gross and heavy and crampy today, so I figured the elliptical could wait until tonight.

I have 3 meetings scheduled today:

Tonight I have a hot date with a bubble bath and my book after I workout

and I get to work from home tomorrow! I need to do some laundry, get some groceries, go to the bank, and get my nails done at some point before Friday as well. I'm going to splurge and get a mani and a pedi since I'm wearing open toe heels at my shower on Sunday. Plus, you know, 

Also, at some point tonight, FI and I need to watch GoT because apparently it was an epic episode.

Seriously, though. I was running at about a million degrees all day yesterday. I'm wearing a dress even though it's pouring rain because pants were hurting my legs, plus the extra air keeps me cooler, and I didn't run because my skin feels so tight.

But I love it. Dresses make me feel fun and dancy!

Yesterday - I walked over to my neighbors about the fallen tree -


he already called the other neighbor about it but said the guy is slow to respond and gave me the contact info.  So I called and also left a message


 letting him know that no damage has been done, but if he waits and the tree falls further it will destroy my fence and shed.  If I don't hear back by the end of the week, I'll call the city and report it.

Other than that - nothing going on here.  Just working the late shift today

Ugh, ladies.  I'm so tired.  If I knew how to post a GIF I would but I'm "technology challenged" this morning (well, every day actually).  The dog woke me up twice in the middle of the night last night barking and then I woke up once on my own so when H's alarm went off this morning I was so tired I just couldn't get up with him.  I slept for an additional hour which was lovely but still insufficient.  I'm also breaking out like crazy, which is fun...haven't had pimples since my early 20s so seeing them again a decade later is a blast.  

@TwoDimes - Whoo, hoo for becoming an auntie!

@SouthernPeach89 - Your co-worker needs to take her side-eye elsewhere and you can tell her I said so.

@Swazzle Ummm, did you and I have a mind meld last night?  My dream (well the one dream I had when the dog wasn't barking) was really odd and then a make out session with my H.  Maybe its because I was watching the bachelorette?  She makes out with everyone so maybe the combination of odd with make-out sessions just stuck in my mind.

@minskat30 - In mine, we were in "our house" (except it wasn't really our house, it was like a row home that I grew up in in Philly). We were making out on the floor of the living room for a while and them we were going to take the party upstairs, if you get what I'm saying. I looked out the screen door and there were a bunch of kids staring at us from the stoop and I, literally, started screaming at them to "GET OFF MY STOOP!"

Ha @Swazzle - too funny!  Mine involved a house I didn't recognize at all that was full of traps...and spies?  I didn't "know" H in the dream (you know that weird feeling where you are a stranger to someone in a dream you know in real life) though I clearly had no issues making out with him in it.  Judge away if you must.

OH! And there's only two more weeks of this hell-term I have going on for school that has rendered me absent from most of life. Then I can have a summer of FUN because I will only have ONE CLASS instead of two for the first time in a year and a half!!
