INDOOR Wedding Photos- Locations in Monmouth County

I'm looking for a backup plan if it happens to rain on my wedding day. I am getting married in a hotel and the pictures wouldn't be spectacular if I have them there. My ceremony is at the Chapel at Allaire State park, so indoor pictures there could be challenging too depending on how badly it is raining.

Does anyone have ideas as to a pretty indoor spot for wedding photos?

What about Monmouth University? I will be doing photos there and Pier Village (beach). I went there for grad school and it has such beautiful buildings, both inside and out. I've also seen photos of people who used it as a wedding photo op and they're gorgeous. My photographer is familiar with it as well and mentioned they now require a "guest permit" of sorts which allows you within the buildings for a specific timeframe.

If you're close to Asbury- you can shoot inside the convention hall for some shots- they have cute soft string lights hung around

Both great ideas! I went to MU for grad school too! I didn't want to have to pay for anything though. Thanks so much for your ideas.

I don't believe you have to pay for the permit, especially if you're alumni. I'm pretty sure it's just for scheduling purposes so weddings don't overlap at the same time in the same part of campus.

Thanks @amt6 !! It also notes on MU's site that they waive the reservation fees for alumni :-)

Too bad I'm not an alum We're also getting married on a Friday and they do not take reservations prior to 5pm on Friday. Boo!
