China/Flatware

Is anyone buying their own china or flatware and getting married before November 1? I would love to use mismatched china and real (not plastic) flatware and am willing to buy it from someone who is getting married before we are. But it only makes sense if it costs less than the rental - and right now I can rent it all out (large dinner plate, small bread/dessert plate and knife, fork, salad fork and spoon) for about $125 for my 100 person reception. Let me know if I can make you an offer! Thanks.

Re: China/Flatware

  • I have mis-matched china for sale....but just the dinner plates.  Sounds like you've got a good deal there - go ahead and rent everything, then you don't have to worry about where to store it or how to get rid of it afterwards!  ;)
