I need some help with my bridesmaid dresses.

I am getting married on 9/27/15 and I haven't picked them out yet. I only have 2 girls in it. My daughter and his. I just can't seem to figure out a stye and color. Can anyone throw out some suggestions? We want an Rustic Fall theme.

Do you have specific colours you want to use in your wedding overall?  And ditto PP on the ages, are they still kids or teens or adults?

Hellohkb, They have very different styles. Which is why it is a little hard for me. His daughter is more of a vintage hipster and my daughter is more trendy. His daughter will be 18 a month after our wedding and mine is 16. 

Doeydo, I don't ,I just can't seem to pick out colors. All I know is I want fall colors. 

lachattefatale, It is an outside wedding and reception near a lake. It is an afternoon wedding (3:00) and reception will follow. The guys will be in suits or something in that manner. Not tuxedos. My dress is a David Tutera, it strapless and lacy.

Why don't you just have them each pick out their own dress? If you want some type of uniformity to the dresses you can specfiy color/length/fabric type.

You could pick a certain colour, colour range, fabric, and/or length of dress and have them pick out their own dresses from any store or from a certain designer.  Below are some pictures of bridesmaids in different dresses so you can kinda see what you might like or not like.

As usual, I agree with @doeydo . I would figure out a color, length, and fabric and then ask them to find a dress they like.

definitely let them each pick out their own, it doesn't have to be from a bridal store either they could find them at the mall stores. I would pick a color for them both to wear.  Just because you pick a dress color doesn't mean everything for the wedding has to be that same color too if that is what is holding you back.  I didn't really pick colors either, but the bridesmaid dresses ended up in blue (they liked it better than the black version of the dress they liked), and we did blue sashes on the chairs but nothing else was blue. So pick a color that would work well for both of them and let them find a dress that works from there.

I agree with picking a color and length and letting them pick their own styles. Choosing a material will help make them look even more similar, but not necessary. My BM's had 3 different dress styles with 3 different material... I just told them to get something short and navy blue. I gave them a sample of ribbon we were using on flowers & cake as a color match.  Two of them got satin dresses from David's Bridal.  One found a navy blue lace dress on clearance at Target for $15. Colors weren't perfect match to each other, but they coordinated nicely and looked perfectly fine. And each of them were comfortable in what they were wearing.  Even better, they were able to choose styles they may actually wear again (that is one advantage to using a neutral color like navy, black, or brown).

make a fun day out of it go to the mall  and hit up the big department stores tell them what color you want them to wear and let them pick out many different styles to try on. and let them each choose what they want to wear,  you could grab dinner or lunch depending on what time you hit the mall.  

i used to work in a mall and the best time to go shopping is when they first open or at night when the crowds are not as big.
