Cocktail Reception Venues On the Strip

Hi all,

I'm interested in hosting a cocktail reception after my wedding (booked for next year in July 2016!) at the Wynn.  I received information about a few restaurants at the Wynn and Encore but I wanted to keep my options open.  Does anybody have any recommendations and/or can share their experiences?  There is no preference on the type of food, but I would like it to be on the strip.  For those who have gone through a Wynn and Encore restaurant, how was your overall experience?  I will also have three guests under 18 (two are family and one is in the wedding party as a ringbearer) which may limit our options since some restaurants are more "adult" than others.  I just prefer a cocktail reception because it's more informal and won't burn our wallets too much.

I will be getting married at the Wynn in November and decided to do my reception at Maggiano's.  They have been great to work with so far and also have a wide variety of packages including a cocktail reception.  I have found their prices to be exceptionally reasonable.  I am doing a full sit down dinner reception with a 4 hour open bar for 35 guests and it will be under $4000 (thats not including my DJ and some decor).  They are also a family friendly establishment and the best part is they are right across the street from the Wynn.    I just grabbed my pricing package I got from them and it looks like a cocktail reception starts at $45.95 pp and that includes a 2 hour bar package.
