100 Days Left!

edited June 2015 in Chit Chat
Hey guys! This is my first post, and I'm super excited to announce I have 100 days left until my wedding!

How far along is everyone else? What has been the best part of planning?

I've loved the planning process, it has really brought FH's family and my family closer together. There has been some drama, of course, but what would wedding planning be without a little feuding, right?!

I'm going to move this to chit chat.

Welcome! I'm an OMH (old married hag), 715 days and counting - I only know that bc TK tells me every time I log in ;)

I'm 115 days out.  I haven't loved planning, but I haven't hated it.  It's been pretty easy over all, only a few minor concerns and all easily resolved by remembering that all I need is a license, a groom, officiant, and two witnesses.

    Good luck!

  • That's exciting! Welcome!
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • 9 days, and I've hated planning. It's almost over!

  • I'm at 7 days and cannot wait to get married and live our lives again. I'm currently consumed by wedding stuff and hating it.
  • Welcome! I'm 3 weeks post-wedding & loving it although it was an exhausting (sometimes frustrating) but joyful process.

My advice is, be prepared for peaks and valleys during planning. I got extreme planning fatigue (a first world problem for certain) about 2 months out. Then there was an odd calm. Then it was hectic again!

Also, I am not sure if you are going straight to your honeymoon but I can guarantee you're going to want to collapse for about 3 days after your wedding (for me it was face down in the sand with my toes in the Gulf and a piña colada in my hand).

    Good luck!
