My grandmother and I were really close, she lived with me for about 10 years before I went off to college. One summer when I was home visiting I showed her cake wrecks and we were up till 3 am laughing so loud my mother came out of the bedroom and fussed us. Her health was really declining at the time so her having such a great night meant so much to me. 

It weird simultaneously being grossed out, laughing hysterically, AND being sentimental all in one baby/fetus cake picture.

I would bust out a katana for the "baby" style cakes. Because my friends and I are crazy like that. It's the only thing that could top my "children are a meal option " mishap. For my friends, because I'm evil, I'd insist on a strawberry or raspberry filling. Then over fill it so the thing "spurts blood".
