We are doing a non-traditional wedding without wedding parties and don't have a need for a full-on pro photographer with photo packages, etc. We also want to keep the cost down. We just want a reliable, capable photographer with equipment that can take photos of us after the ceremony and will give us a disc and the rights to make prints.
Anyone use an amateur photographer they were happy with? How about an RIT student photographer? How'd they do? I don't want to sell myself short with our wedding photos, but trying to avoid spending $1000+ on a photographer package for 4-8 hours when we'll need less than half of what they offer and for about two hours.
Thanks all!
