Color-Clueless - What colors should the Flowers be?

So here is my dilemma - I have no sense of color, fashion or style I am just going with what I like.  That said here is the situation:
Bride (me)/Groom - Wearing a dark green dress/tie.
Bridesmaids/Groomsmen - Wearing Royal Blue Dresses/Ties

The idea is Green/Blue primary w/White-silverish accent colors.

We're not totally sure if the flowers should match (green with green, blue with blue or contrast and we're desperate for suggestions from people better at this than us.

Please and thank you in advance!

For you I would stick with an all white bouquet.  It will really pop off your dark green dress.

For the BMs you could go with all green bouquets...hydrangeas, hypericum berries, button mums, orchids, spider mums, carnations, ornamental cabbage/kale, and succulents are all good choices for green flowers.

  • And i assume guys go with flowers to match the girls (groom = white, groomsmen green)?

My husband to be is paranoid about miss-matching and nether of us have enough sense to know better lol

Thank you so much for the response!
  • This is where you hire a florist who is a great artist in coordinating things for you!  Delegate!  I have a relationship with a florist that I call her up, say "Here's my budget, here's what I need, here's my color scheme, have fun with the budget!" (and it's a real budget that she has some flex to work with - not short changing)...  I've always loved what she has come up with!!!

Take some paint and/or fabric swatches (David's sells fabric swatches for around $1, but really, paint swatches from the hardware store are the easiest to work with) with you when you go to meet with florists.  IMO there are a lot of ways you can go with that color scheme but the florist is going to need colors to base their work off of.
