    I am really liking your responses, OP. I think your approach was very mature and you handled everyone's advice really well.
     
    Now just as a heads up I would keep in mind that in the future when posting on the Knot that not all of the knotties on here are straight. (I myself have now recognized that saying "Hello Ladies!" is not all inclusive of everyone in this community.) I recommend using SO (=significant other) because it encompasses everyone on the knot.
