FI and I just got back from signing the venue contract and paying the first deposit...!!!!!!!!!! Soooooooooooooooo excited!

    In my planning so far, signing the venue, getting my ring, and trying on my dress once it came in have been the big moments so far.

    For us it was the opposite - we decided we were getting married, booked everything, and THEN he gave me the ring.  So the venue was our first big thing, and it was awesome.  Everything after that was just more excitement :)
