Does your dress need to match your wedding colors?

I really think I want a blush dress, but I don’t want pink to be a part of my color scheme…I want to have purple and blue (thinking a deep purple, like a plum, and a nice, bright turquoise). Does a blush dress work with that?

No, your dress doesn't have to match.
Yes, that does actually go.
Also, you're really overthinking it.

Wear what makes you happy.  No one will care about or remember your colors when all is said and done.

I can't help "overthinking" -- that is a personality trait of mine. I plan and overthink pretty much everything in my life. And with my OCD, colors going together is one of the biggest things that needs to happen. I don't even sit around the house in non-coordinating clothes!!

As long as your colors aren't bright orange or bright parakeet green, you should be fine.
