We are eloping/small wedding in September and then having a huge reception celebration back home in Tampa, in November.. (started out as elopement plans and the fam invited themselves)..
As for the ceremony in September, we are wanting the driftwood beach location on Jekyll island. I can have the beach ceremony set up myself, but the reception is an entirely different ball game. My dream is to have a beach tent, with a couple of tables, and a cake table.. but I am starting to find out that is pretty impossible to find with one vendor for an inexpensive price... sooo, I am looking at a few locations for the same idea, but maybe in a hotel, on a terrace of some sort, or a private dining room at a restaurant..
I am not looking for a DJ, or anything like that.. just a simple reception private dinner (with decorations of course). I also am looking for hair & makeup, as well as a florist if you know of any in the area.
Any rec's or advice would be appreciated! Thank you IA.
