I got good news at my radiologist oncologist today. The puffy swelling under my eye is not a growing tumor! It is my body trying to protect itself from the tumor by growing a pocket of fat cells to surround the cancer. The tumor, itself, is unchanged since March. This is a very oddball kind of cancer.
Anyway, I don't need to be in a hurry to plan my funeral just yet. Whew! Two doctors told us that the cancer will find some other place in my body to grow a new tumor, but the old one probably won't grow any more. Yay!
