Hello! We've booked a historic inn for our spring wedding. It's beautiful (my mother and I both cried when we toured it), but I'm having some difficulty figuring out a plan to decorate it to make it more "ours." We've been there a few times now, but I've only seen it generically set up before the wedding party came, or with blue up-lighting (pretty, but very modernized). The consultant suggested bringing in family pictures, but my family doesn't have a lot of those, so I'm not sure.
Has anyone had a wedding someplace like this, and do you have ideas for personalizing the space without taking away from its charm?
