It's Monday.  I've been up since 4:45.  I am getting a cavity filled this morning.  RAWR.  Stupid deep pitted molars.

I technically have been up since 7 am yesterday, save for an hour nap at 2pm and a two hour nap at 4am. I'm barely awake, sitting at my desk because I do actually have things to do the morning after a lock in. 

I plan to be in bed and asleep within the next two and a half hours.

I haven't! I had a gazillion as a kid, so all of my teeth have fillings in them already.

Yes, please! Although I haven't been to one that offers it in at least a decade and a half.

Every day. It's a must. (I'm more excited to shower than I am to sleep today.)

@audrewuh - My dentist is awesome and gives happy gas to adults if needed.  I needed it when I got my half-fake front teeth fixed last year.  My anxiety was through the roof and it did help.  But I mean, come on.  Kids get cavities filled all the time.  I should be able to do this sans happy gas.  But then, UGH, a chance a happy gas!!!  It's a real dilemma.

This one.  Deep-pitted molars run on my dad's side of the family.  Thanks, Dad.  The dentist said it was just a matter of time before I started to get cavities, even if I was a maniac about my teeth.

How often do you wash your hair?
Generally 2 or 3 times a week.  It's very long and it's a lot of work, plus you aren't supposed to wash curly hair every day.  In the summer sometimes I'll wash it a little more often.

Like @audrewuh, all my teeth had fillings in them before I hit 18. I did have to get one replaced about 8 years ago, and that was not pleasant.

Good morning! I had a great weekend! 

Friday, I got my eyebrows done, cooked/ate dinner and hung around the house with H. 

Saturday, I made myself breakfast and then spent the day cleaning the house. When H got home from work, we drove to the jewelry store because they needed to see my necklace again for the appraisal then we stopped at the thrift store. I got this mirror for $8: 

We stopped and ate while we were out, stopped home to the pup, and then met H's friends at the bar where we watched ALL the UFC fights that night. We were out so late! 

Yesterday, H wasn't feeling well so we didn't make it to the beach. We had a lazy couch day and then went to buy chalk paint (which is expensive, FYI) for the two pieces that we bought for the living room and the bedroom. I'm so excited to start working on them! We got home, ordered pizza because I was feeling lazy, and had a movie night.

Um, yes. Approximately 1 billion. I have bad teeth.

What are you wearing?

My favorite maxi skirt (it's a black and white print and then the bottom is green and blueish print), a black tank, blueish cardigan, and black Tory Burch sandals that I recently rediscovered in my box o' shoes. 

How often do you wash your hair?

It varies. Now that I've found a dry shampoo that works, I generally wash it every other day, sometimes I can get away with 3 days. I'm super oily so my whole life I've washed my hair daily.

@swazzle your weekend sounds amazing. I'm really loving seeing your new house come together. You and Mr. Swazzle have a really good eye for things and the skill to get it done well. 

@cu97tiger - I spent my weekend the way you're spending your day (does that make sense?). I got to see my goddaughter all weekend long. We went to the smaller Children's Museum in Houston, we read books and sang songs, ran around with blankets on our heads, and her mom and I drank wine.

Hi! So I tried out that aerial yoga class Saturday morning. I seriously had NO intentions of enjoying it or returning, I was just trying it out to support my good friend who now teaches the class. Well, it was way different than I expected and I loved it. It was really fun, even though I couldn't do half the moves. Myself and another girl kept looking at each other and saying "it's ok- I can't do it either" and giggling. There was one where we were like hanging upside down with our legs wrapped around the sheet thing and I was holding the sheet with my hands for dear life. She came over to me and was like you can let go now and I was like "No dude, there's no way I'm letting go" hahah. So my arms and shoulders and abs are all so sore. It's 35 minutes from my apartment right now but once we buy the house and move it will only be 10 minutes so I'm going to wait until then to purchase a package.

Ok I need advice. Death. I have never experienced it. I still have all 4 grandparents, a great grandmother, every aunt/ uncle/ cousin/ friend, etc. I have literally never known anyone who has died. A few years ago when DH and I had just gotten together, his grandmother died. I didn't know her but I decided I should be an adult and go to the wake for support even though it was my first one and I was terrified. Well, it was a disaster. I took one step inside and started uncontrollably bawling and I was so embarrassed and had to leave. I have no idea why I couldn't pull it together, I think maybe I was imagining what's it's going to be like when I finally have to face it for my own grandparents. But I haven't been to one since. Well my BFF/ MOH called last night to tell me her grandma died. This grandma lived at her parent's house and came on vacation with us so I actually saw her quite a bit. I know I have to go to the wake on Wednesday but I'm terrified that it'll be a repeat and I'll have to run out of there crying like a lunatic. Any advice or tips to deal?!?! And should I send flowers to her mom's house?

Ok sorry that was so long. Good luck at the dentist today! The only cavity I've ever had I was 21 and I was so surprised how fast it was done, so I would say you don't need the gas.

What are you wearing? Jeans, cream colored flowy tank top, silver flip flops (I don't try on Mondays)

How often do you wash your hair? Every 2-3 days. In the winter when I'm not sweaty 3-4 days.

My weekend was awesome! We headed up to Maine on Thursday morning and spent Thursday and Friday out on the lake, tubing, kayaking, on the pontoon boat, swimming, grilling and drinking. It was so relaxing and awesome. We headed back Saturday morning. We went and grabbed the pup and unpacked. That night we went out with my cousin for dinner.

Yesterday we cleaned around the house a bit and then went to a cookout. We got home around 6ish and I had to bring my laundry to my parent's house because our dryer is broken. BF needs his clothes dried with low heat or they shrink so it took FOREVER, but I got enough done.

@audrewuh Children's museum sounds like a good time to me! We visited DH's best friend yesterday so he could help him fix his car, so I hung out with the wife and 2 year old. They live 2 hours away so we never see them and I hardly know her. But it was so much fun, the little one took right to me and was snuggled up on me for her DVD, it melted my heart!

Oh, this is so totally O/T but...  Yesterday, H and I had brunch with a friend and then stopped by a bakery with a paper shop next door.  We were there on Friday and H saw these Star Wars picture books.  He was so excited by them, but I told him not to buy them until we were expecting.  So we went by yesterday just to look around.  They have all kinds of planners, cards, stationery, lists.. everything paper!  I realized that H wasn't with me anymore, so I looked around for him.  He was at the counter, walking bag towards me with a bag.  He showed me the bag and he had bought all 3 of the Star Wars baby books.  SMH.  He said that he was just going to put them in the kids' room (what kids' room??) on the shelf and one day we would use them.  We don't have kids.  We don't have a kids' room, we have a guest room that will one day be the kids' room.  I'm not even pregnant.

It's Monday.  For the past several days my allergies have been bad, lot of sneezing, watery eyes and congestion.  My weekend was pretty good. Friday I got in quite a bit of studying which was good.  Saturday H & I ran a few errands.  H worked on the yard while I studied.  I also ordered some maternity clothes from Thred Up last week.  They came on Saturday.  I loved everything I got.  The pants are large on me and will need to be altered but I knew that anyway.  I ordered more stuff from them this weekend.  H & I played a few board games, later on Saturday night.

 

Sunday we went into the city to see The Book of Mormon.  It was a lot of fun.  I enjoyed the show.  I was hot and tired so after the show we just came home ate dinner locally and watched True Dectective.  I want it to be Friday already.....

OMG this weekend...it was insane but so so amazing!

Friday we went to our 3D ultrasound appointment and I just cried. I loved it so much. Callie looks just like her Daddy. She has a head full of dark hair and has his nose, eyes, and forehead. OMG HER CHEEKS! She has this chipmunk cheeks that I want to eat! She had her hands all over her face and in her mouth! She is amazing and 4 lbs!! She is getting sooo big!! Here is a picture:

After our ultrasound we went to dinner with MIL and SFIL for DH's bday.

Saturday was my baby shower! My mom hosted it and did an amazing job! I was so overwhelmed with all the gifts and love received for Callie. DH and I are just like ????? what do we do with all this baby stuff lol? We received books, toys, crazy amounts of clothes, our carseat, @labro got me a BEAUTIFUL toy chest to include a boo boo bunny that Callie will come to cherish, and lots of blankets! After the shower DH and I went to Top Golf to celebrate his bday with his friends.

Sunday was SUPER busy because we ran a million errands. I made some returns to Babies R US and bought a few things for the nursery. DH put together the crib and dresser so it's all finally starting to come together. Then we went to Pike's Nursery where I bought @labro her bday gift. Then I went to Michaels to buy some wreath stuff which I probably won't make those until tonight or tomorrow. Then we went to Walmart and Costco to buy more baby essentials....ughhhhhh so exhausted lol.

Today I need to look over our life insurance policy to make sure we have everything in place the way we need it for Callie and I have an appointment this afternoon with my OB.

I've had one and it was all the way in the back on a molar.

A striped skirt and a white t-shirt. I'm getting the HB checked today so I don't feel like taking off all my clothes at the doctor.

Probably once a day to every other day.

This weekend was pretty great! I was successful in finding a car! I ended up purchasing a Toyota Rav4. It's the perfect size for me! Here we are:

So proud of myself! I went to 3 dealerships. Only 1 was good- meaning they didn't pressure me, ask me to borrow money from my parents or call me stupid for not taking a deal...because that's what the other dealerships said to me. I ended up buying my car from the good dealership. Yay!

We also managed to go to the market for some odds and ends, since our blue apron order is coming tomorrow! I'm so excited (thanks again @swazzle). We also went to the crate and barrel near us and exchanged a few stoneware plates for porcelain. I hate how heavy stoneware is and it's chips easily in our house lol After the errands we went out to a steakhouse and then went home and we watched TV. Good weekend overall!

@cocobellaf - don't worry, he's probably seen it! Saturday night, I met them and a few of their friends at the comic book store. It's an extremely overwhelming and very nerdy place, but it was so huge, they literally had something for everyone. Judging by the extensive SW section, they probably carry those books, too.

My weekend was so crazy! I basically spent the entire weekend doing all the same things @southernpeach89 listed. On Saturday morning I woke up really early to pick up coffee for the mom to be and run some last minute errands for the shower. I got these coffees!

Then we had the shower and @southernpeach89 got soooooooooooo many adorable and generous gifts! Everything went perfectly!

While I was gone, H bought some rock and made the final touches on our yard!!!!

So I can finally say, our yard is OFFICIALLY DONE! The great landscape project of 2015 is COMPLETE!

On Sunday I ran a ton of errands with my mom and sister. Then we had tasty pizza and my mom and I helped @southernpeach89 unpack all of her gifts and start putting them away. It's amazing how much stuff a baby can have!

@cocobellaf - Ha... it's actually been a little stressful. Making breakfast (three different breakfasts for four people), plus playing, plus paying attention to work. I'm exhausted and it's only 9:45a!

@jenna8984 - Death sucks. Especially if you aren't gradually introduced to it (I lost my first grandparent at 9 years old). Honestly, it would probably be more traumatic for your friend if you showed up at the wake and had a panic attack. I'd send flowers to the funeral home, and then maybe think about just attending the actual funeral service (if it's in a church?) and sit in the back. My niece is 7 and my nephew is 4. They are both so adorable and smart. I love hanging out with them but wow, they exhaust me. I can't wait to go to the pool today!

@southernpeach89 - Aww, thanks! I love being an aunt. If @labro wants any pointers of how to be the favorite, tell her to come to me, I've had lots of practice Despite my concern, your 3D baby doesn't look like an alien! I can actually see a hint of your H in her... how cute!!
