Wedding Woes

Morning!

How was the weekend?

Mine was busy but great.  Friday we saw the Browns scrimmage, Saturday morning I took a cheesemaking class, Saturday night drinks with friends, and Sunday my family reunion.  I also managed to place 3 orders from Kohls- 7 tops, 6 pants, 2 pjs for $45.

My mom gave me a cake for my birthday.  I JUST threw out the cake from sMIL.  I'm over cake so we'll be making cake balls with this one.

Today I need to call to start getting our yard treated.  It's out of control.  I also need to get 6let a haircut and get him ready to start school!

Re: Morning!

  • Weekend was pretty good.

Friday night I took the kiddo to our old area.  I spent some time with two different friends and got home super late, but it was a great night.

Saturday, DH had to work in the morning.  DefConn and I went shopping and then picked up the kiddo from his friend's mom.  We all came home and napped/rested for a bit and then went out to dinner with DH's family.  Saturday night was rough since I was up from 3-4 am with cramps, then a bloody nose, then DefConn ended up in our room, and then the kiddo was up.  DH slept through all of it, of course.  A 3 ring circus could perform in our room and he'd be dead to the world.

Sunday, we did sleep a little bit and then I made breakfast.  We went bike shopping for me and I ended up getting the most adorable purple cruiser.  I just have to get a new hitch for DefConn's trailer and we'll be in business.  I took a couple rides yesterday.  I love it.  Other than that just dinner and other normal Sunday night stuff.
  • So do you have a lot of cheese now?

My weekend was nothing special but very good.  My mom came over for a bit on Saturday.  I think she just needed a grandkid fix, which was fine by me.  I got all the laundry done:  when I went to bed last night, nothing was in the basket or the dryer, everything was folded and put away.  I wish I could say that's always the case, but no.

Took the kids to the pool yesterday.  DS is getting braver and braver in the water--he used to be afraid to leave the steps, and now he's all over the shallow end and screeching with excitement.  Which is good, because starting next spring, he'll be old enough to start lessons at the place Wooz goes.

DH made dinner last night, and he was disappointed but I was just thrilled that someone else made dinner.  Sunday dinner has become his thing, he's working on learning to cook Italian (his favorite), and I love having that time free.  Did some organizing and have a big bag of stuff to drop at Goodwill at lunch.

Wooz and I played Legos while DS was napping yesterday.  DS has learned that he doesn't have to cry when he wakes up, and has been super cheerful and silly instead lately.  I'll take it.

We leave for the beach a week from Friday, and two weeks from today, DD is back to school.

Weekend was OK, I got all sorts of migraney so I lost part of Sat, but Buffy is big enough for "play in the back yard, let me know if you need help" to be OK in my book.

My parents took her to build the next-to-last piece of this build all the avengers vehicles things @ lowes, so I got a kid-free-nap time deal, yay! :)
