Can you please share how much I should plan to tip vendors?
I want to tip my vendors an appropriate amount, but am curious as to what that is? Is it a percentage of their fee, or just a general dollar amount?
For instance, if our DJ is $2k - are we supposed to tip him 20% - $400? Or should we tip him by the hour? Or just a general amount of $100? (Not sure $100 is a good tipping amount - if not, please feel free to let me know what is a good tipping amount)
Also, what about ceremony musicians for example? We have hired a quartet to play for an hour - should we give them $25 each? Or is tipping the main person $100 okay? (Once again, if I am under tipping here, please let me know)
We have also hired a day of wedding coordinator, that I want to tip more than the others, even though her fee is less than the DJ and photographer. Is this appropriate?
