help me pick a gown !!

I’ve narrowed down my dress to these two finalist. I’ve always thought i wanted a true mermaid dress but my fiance like most men hate that look but he says a more smooth fit in flare is more his style.

dress #1(flower sash) is a champange/ gold blush sophia tolli more of the soft trasition fit n flare that my fiance likes. If i pick this gown i will add a tiny bit more tulle at the bottom

Dress #2 (bling belt) is a pink based blush from maggie sottero more of the mermaid fit that i wanted initially.

both dresses are equal in comfort and price

I like the first one better because of the smooth transition into the skirt. They both look beautiful on you, so I don't think you can go wrong!

I prefer the first. It's a much smoother transition as pp mentioned.

I prefer the first dress minus the ribbon belt.

The second one is pretty but I am not a fan of the dramatic v-neck/sweetheart neckline.  The points of the neckline are just too high on your chest.  I mean those things can be altered, but why alter when you have a beautiful dress with a great neckline in the first dress.

Unpopular opinion here, but I actually think that #2 is more flattering to your shape. But they are both beautiful so I think either will look great!

I also really don't care for the side view of #1 where there is the weird V shape with just plain fabric and none of the lace/detail that is on the entire front and apparently on the back as well. That just looks weird and unfinished to me.

#1.  I'd like #2 better if it didn't have that seam where the skirt flares out.

I'd also suggest the first dress, in my eyes it suits you more, but they're both beautiful!

The skirt on #1 reminds me of my dress (I chose a mon cheri dress too), so that's my vote, although I agree with the PP that the side is a little odd.

I think Dress # 1 looks absolutely gorgeous on your figure. I don't particularly care for asymmetrical dresses but the way the dress falls on you is figure flattering.
