I'm glad you updated, I was thinking of you and your H last night. I'm encouraged to hear you H has agreed to go to counseling, just make sure that he actually does this and isn't just saying it to make you happy. I think your plan to continue getting him treatment at a crisis center is the perfect plan, I work at a psych hospital if you would like any insight into that (although in the USA) I would be happy to share and you can PM me if you would like. 

I think you should talk to your H about what triggered this, get to the nitty gritty and figure out what set this in motion. What feeling he had to lead to this decision so you know more about why he made the decision he did. Having this tough talk now, when you know he is safe in the hospital, might be uncomfortable but easier than when he is at home.

As for the suggestion of counselling, H has agreed to go. I am also seeking help. I spoke with my boss last night, a man I trust, and he showed up at the hospital with his wife and dinner for me. They are fantastic people.

You're lucky to have a supportive boss and to have a game plan depending on how things pan out. Good to hear he's agreed to counseling
