Accessories for This Dress?

My fiancé and I decided that we want a tiny, simple wedding. Essentially, a fleshed out elopement. I've already found my dress, it's very similar to this one:

I'm having some trouble accessorizing it and picking shoes though. I would like to wear heels or pumps, but I can't think of any specifics beyond that, or any other accessories. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Is the belt/sash going to be black like this? That detail will help me form my accessory opinion

How do you feel about wearing darker jewelry with it and black heels?

Agreed.

If you're like me and dislike things near your neck, a bigger black or silver bracelet would work instead of the necklace (though I wouldn't do both).

Depending on how you wear your hair, if you do an update, you can do some bigger earrings & skip a necklace. Or you can do small earring a neckace with a nice pendent. Also a simple strand of pearls would go nicely.

It depends, some years it does, others it doesn't. I live in CT

Are you going to be outside for a long period of time?  If not, then I wouldn't bother.

Love it! I don't think a shawl/shrug or anything is necessary, but if you are going to be outside for prolonged periods of time it might be good to have one just in case.

I agree. I bought a pashmina for my wedding, and I then used it as a big scarf all winter long. I got a light silver color, as my dress had silver beading. You could just buy a nice black pashmina/shawl that you could then wear all fall/winter in CT, so it wouldn't be just for the wedding.
