I attempted to hide my tattoo from my parents and that failed. They were pissed for about 2 weeks and got over it (and didn't disown me / take me out of their will as previously threatened).

Other than that? Nope. They don't need to hear all the nitty gritty details of my life, but if they ever asked, I'd probably tell them. They also don't pry though. They're happy I'm married, they like DH, but they were never like, "Sooooo what do you love about him? Does he treat you well? Blah blah blah?" As long as they can tell I'm happy, they're happy. 

We're a very non-prying family.

No, I don't really intentionally hide things. I tell my mom most things and just deal with how she reacts. I'm not a teenager anymore so I'm not going to lie about dumb crap.

I never lied to my late mother.  I always told her the truth, whether or not she wanted to hear it.  Maybe that is why we didn't get along together?

My dad wants grandkids so bad I think he would rather hear all the sordid details than this lie.
