Brand new!! Stratosphere questions??

Hello!

I am new here, I have lurked for a few weeks but decided to finally post. We are really thinking of having our wedding at the stratosphere... does anyone have any comments/reviews about it?  I've tried to do so much research on that venue, but it really doesn't seem to be one of the popular locations, and my question is why?  Online it looks nice, the coordinators I've been hounding with questions have been great, and the prices are much more affordable than other vegas venues.  Can anyone give me their two cents on the stratosphere and what to expect?

Stratosphere isn't as heavily used or reviewed as others because it's at the end of the strip in a less desirable area; i.e. not walking distance from most other things on the strip.  They also explicitly forbid third party photographers, which many people take issue with.  Doesn't mean you should rule it out though, everyone is different, just make sure it's location doesn't pose any concern for your overall plans, and that you have a very thorough understanding of their photography pricing and what's included/not included.

I would agree about the location. I have actually only been to Stratosphere once in the many times I have visited Vegas. It is just too far to walk (I did this the first time!).
