What to wear to celebration of marriage lunch?

I got married in a beautiful ceremony exactly one month ago to the man of my dreams. However, my DH is Italian, born and raised in Italy (and we got married in New Jersey). Although we were blessed to have many of his friends and family fly out to celebrate with us, there were also many who could not join for various reasons. That being said, in 2 weeks, my ILs are throwing a lunch in the hometown of my DH (in Italy) to celebrate our recent marriage with those friends and family who could not make the travel to the US. I have been trying to figure out what to wear to the lunch and narrowed it down to two options and would love your opinion as to which one would be most appropriate:

Option 1

or

Option 2

What do you think? Any other ideas for this type of celebration?

Thanks for the feedback. I was also leaning toward 1 because it is a day-time affair (lunch). Option 2 just called my name because I absolutely love the neckline and the "flowiness" of the skirt. I guess I will save that dress (in a different color, of course) for the next wedding/nighttime affair that I have to go too.

I don't really consider #2 an evening dress. I have seen that type of dress used as a BM dress in many an afternoon wedding. But I still prefer #1 because it is just overall prettier and more flattering then option 2.
