Community Ed classes for brides-to-be

Northside ISD Community Education is offering two great classes for brides-to-be!

Instructor Cris Stone, of the popular budget wedding blog Kiss My Tulle, is teaching “Top Ten Ways to Save on Your Budget Wedding”, where she will share the secrets learned in her 7+ years of helping couples plan their wedding and from her own experience throwing a $5,000 wedding in the Texas Hill Country. Learn how to score a free wedding dress, the two best budget wedding themes, and get tons of great online and local resources for an affordable wedding. Bring a friend -- mother, daughter, maid of honor, wedding planner or whoever -- and get the second registration for half-price! September 29, 6:30-8:30pm Tuition: $25.

After the wedding comes… the honeymoon. In her class “Top Ten Ways to Save on Your Honeymoon,” instructor Cris Stone will share the best ways to score freebies and upgrades, reasonable budget estimates for top honeymoon locales, and the five best sites to score honeymoon deals. October 6, 6:30-8:30pm Tuition: $25

Classes are held at the Northside Learning Center (Grissom Rd and Bandera Rd). Registration is required and can be done online at www.nisd.net/ace, by phone at 397-8100 (option 2), or in person at the Northside Learning Center. Classes are open to all adults in the San Antonio area (not just Northside ISD residents).

Are there other classes you’d like to see offered? DIY Flowers? Cake decorating? We’re planning our Spring semester now, so if there is something you’d like to learn, let me know!
