Light vs. dark wood

Ordered our Kraft paper envelopes and two paper samples and need some help deciding. The idea is to have the invite printed on white card stock and inset a bit to allow the wood paper to border it. Obviously everything will be cut professionally for the actual invites, not with scissors as shown here. Opinions please!

Dark for sure.  And, if you can, have the invited printed on cream, not white, with brown text.

My invites were very similar actually... outside "folder" was kraft, then a chocolate brown backing, and the actual invite printed on cream textured cardstock.  Looked nice if I do say so myself

I like the dark also, and agree with julieanne912 that cream would be a nice combo instead of bright white.
