thanks!! The groom doesn't want to wear a suit, and its an outside ceremony.

he will wear dress pants, button down shirt, and tie
What does the groom intend to wear?

You typed something, but then did a DD.  It is impossible to tell you groomsman attire ideas without knowing what the groom intends to wear.

That's what he will wear, thanks!!

  • Both your wedding dress and the bm dresses are beutiful! My bms will be dressed very similar to yours. Your groom and groomsmen choice of attire should go just fine with everyone else and the venue. I like the grey pants that someone mentioned earlier and I would go pink/purple for the other groomsmen colors.
  • I am definitely getting a more casual vibe from both the BM dresses and your dress so I think that your groom and his GM would be fine in grey slacks, a white dress shirt and a coordinating tie (pink, purple, or a combo of pink or purple).  Since they will not be wearing a jacket then they should not wear bouts.

While most times I think that the groom and GM should wear suits/tuxes, there are times when a wedding is definitely on the more casual side in regards to everyone else's attire where suits would actually look out of place.  In your case if they wore suits, and especially tuxes, they would look over dressed.  Now if your dress was fancier (different fabric, more embellishments, longer train, etc) then I would push more for a suit.

By the way I kind of love your BM dresses.

  • Thank you so much HID!!
  • Maggie0829 - Yes, it is way more of a casual feel! I also agree with you, if our venue was more formal i'm sure my fiancé would wear a suit/tux, but being that the venue itself is more casual we wanted to match the whole feel of it!
Aw thanks, they are Eliza J from Nordstrom- got them on sale too :)
  • I agree the rest of the wedding is casual enough for the men to not wear jackets in this case.
