So first off, thank you for the Undisclosed suggestion. Very interesting stuff. Now that I'm caught up, it feels a bit slower--it's like they've also caught up to where the case is currently, which is understandable. Haven't listened to the most recent episode, with the inmates, but it's in the queue.
Second, have you listened to the
Criminal podcast at all? If not, it's a shorter one (usually 20-30 minutes), and it's true crime, but not like "Ripped from today's headlines!" All kinds of crime: murder, white collar crime, misdemeanors. I particularly recommend
Episode 15: He's Neutral. It was kind of funny and unexpected.
HOLY CRAP. I went to the website to link to Episode 15, and saw the synopsis for Episode 14:
"In June 2014, authorities released information about a massive child
pornography ring being conducted in North Carolina. Four suspects had
already been arrested, and the police were asking the public for help
finding a fifth suspect. But they didn’t need to look very hard — the
suspect was about to turn himself in, almost by accident."
My boss's boss was arrested in July 2014. I have to listen right now.
