I was cleaning all night or I would have joined in! 

Let's plan for a night next week! I can do Sunday (off on Monday, woot!), Monday, or Wednesday. I have a Devils game on Tuesday, then @GoldenPenguin will be at my house on Thursday and we're heading south on Friday so those are out for me.

I spent 6 hours cleaning my fucking closet and I could not have needed a beer more than I did tonight. 

I got rid of 5 bags of clothes/shoes. 

I'm finishing making THIS scrumdiddliuptious meal right now and on my 2nd Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin Ale

@Swazzle - I am super impressed with your closet clean-out.  I did that this weekend, and then BF was like, "Buy yourself some new things for your birthday."  So I did.  And now I have 4 new pairs of booties, because...shoes.  (I can't seem to get pics in my post, but there are some below.)  I ended up getting rid of two huge bags to Goodwill, plus another bag that's going to ThredUp.

This baseball game is stressing me out.  So I think I'll have another glass of wine.

@futuremrshistorian - I'm officially banned from buying clothes and especially shoes after today/tonight. After setting aside 14 pairs for GoodWill, and packing away all of my sandals/summer shoes, I had 52 pairs of boots, booties, flats, slip-ons, who knows what else that I wanted out and easily accessible. H walked into the bedroom, looked back and forth at them all lined up on the floor, and then walked away. I promised him I won't buy any shoes for the foreseeable future. Except for the ones that are being delivered this week. 

ETA: I LOVE ALL OF THOSE. Don't tell me where you got them.

Guys I just found out that my brother is leaving for his navy basic training tomorrow and I'm pissed because nobody in my family has communicated with me about this since I found out he enlisted. WTF!!!

@Swazzle - Yeah...shoes...I love them.  I was pretty ruthless with my purge...gave away probably 10 pairs to Goodwill, tossed a few pairs that were totally worn out, and sent 1 pair still in the box to ThredUp (ordered them on Modcloth as a final sale and they didn't fit).  And I think I still have about 20 pairs in the closet.

BF wears combat boots.  To say he doesn't understand why I need so many shoes would be an understatement.
