White Dress with Ivory Pearls?

Hello Everyone!

In desperate need of your help!

The dress that I decided on for the big day is attached here. Its white white.

I would love to wear pearls from my grandma, also attached here but they are ivory.

I am concerned that the two will clash. My dress is very simple so I feel like my jewelry will be more noticeable than not and I feel like the white of the dress could cause the pearls to look dirty.

Thoughts?

Pearls do not clash with anything.  They are classic bridal jewelry.

Wear the pearls.  They are a classic piece and they have sentimental value.  The meaning behind them is more important then if they will clash, which they won't.

Maggie is right! Their sentimental value is worth more than any concerns regarding clashing. You may end up regretting NOT wearing them.

Wear them. Are pearls even ever white? I think most tend to look on the off-white to ivory side of things.

I'm just grumpy today but I can't sympathise that this is a 'desperate need' issue. Wear the pearls, they're beautiful.
