Still planning to write up a review of all my other vendors, but I wanted to give an extra special shoutout to my videographer for the day - Gurson, Inc (http://gursonincorp.com/
). When I first started my wedding planning, I wasn't that interested in a wedding videographer because we already had a photographer.. so what's the point? However, when a lot of my groom's family couldn't make it, I thought about how nice it would be to have someone there to capture the moment. Plus, pictures can only tell so much.
So I contacted a few videographers, including Kelly Langdon who is popular on these boards. However, I ultimately decided on Gurson, Inc. who I found on Groupon of all places. It definitely was a bit of a risk, but I couldn't be happier. David, who was our videographer, brought a MASSIVE industry-sized camera and was great to work with throughout the whole process. Even the guests loved him, and loved hearing stories about the movie sets he worked on (apparently he worked on Inception.. oooh). When David sent me the finished product, he was also willing to work with me to squeeze in a few more things I wanted in my highlight reel. He was great from start to finish and I highly recommend him. If you do opt to get a videographer for the day (which I highly recommend), give him a call and tell him Rachel sent you!
And without further ado, here's my wedding video. A bride just recently posted her Langdon video as well, so you can compare the two to find out which style might suit you.
