HI! I am also getting married at the eastwind. When is your wedding? Can you tell me what they told you about the wedding cake? I didn't ask about it yet. Also do they only give you the option of that one bakery?

I called Elizabeth my wedding planner and asked about the cake becaues that is basically all we have left to do.  From what I understand the Rolling Pin Bakery is the only place that does the cake.  She said 6 weeks (I think) prior to the wedding I meet with her and through her I pick the cake.  She also said I can call the Rolling Pin to set up a tasting.  I figure I will do that in January. I am getting married on July 4, 2010 at the Estate.  What about you? Did you try to block rooms at the hotel????  I wasn't too happy with having to put such a large deposit up front.  Just curious as to what you think?

I'm getting married Aug 7, 2010 at the SH building. Yea I did book rooms but only like 5 b/c they are expensive and just for 5 my dep was $300+. They are basically just for my wedding party then Im going to look into like a holiday inn for my other guests as an option.

I just spoke to the Holiday Inn today and they were really nice.  They are holding 15 rooms for two nights at no cost!!!!
