Where to find a wedding planner?

As the title says- where do you find one? Is it normal/ok to interview a few?
What is a normal pay scale?

So new at this, sorry if these are silly questions- feel free to refer me to any articles that explains all of this!

    I didn't use a wedding planner, but if I had, I would have started with Googling wedding planners in my area. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
