Not sure if this has already been posted, but, yeah.  I seriously can't with this.  I am almost 90% sure it's MUD.  Most of me hopes it is, because I don't want to live in the same world as this chick.  Part of me hopes it isn't because I love anonymous people's drama.

I hope it's MUD.  Maybe it's an actual situation but the dress amount is something less, like $1,000?  

I had a friend who had to pay $500 for a Bridesmaid dress recently, and I even thought that was ridiculous.  She said she and another BM changed halfway into the reception because the dress was so hideous and uncomfortable.

For real, I need to know what a $15k bridesmaid dress looks like.  And the fact that this bride just could not understand why the BM couldn't afford it blows my mind.  Like, $15k is (sadly) basically our entire life savings that we scraped together to hopefully put down on a house.  And she thinks I'm going to spend it on a dress?  I would never speak to her again.  It makes me sad that the BM felt the need to write a LETTER to apologize.

It's got to be a troll. No person, ever, has asked a bridesmaid to purchase a $15k dress, and the fact that the letter writer didn't immediately laugh in her "friend's" face and go, "HAHAHAHAHA! That was a fucking riot! You're hilarious!" is strikes 1, 2, and 3 for me. No way that is real.

@bunnyprincess2014 I fell in love with almost all of the Neiman Marcus dresses. I can't afford any of them by a long shot, but I could always force my bridesmaids to wear them OR LOSE MY FRIENDSHIP FOREVER.

They almost had me with that one @levioosa. I had it added to my cart and then realized that the belt was sold separately. Sonofabitch.

ETA: that's a pretty dress if not shockingly plain, considering the price.

It was too bright for me.  For almost $15K I expect a lot more.

If I had the body for it (oh, and the cash), I would buy this D&G and wear it everywhere.  Seriously, everywhere:  work, grocery store, Target...

That dress is gorgeous, but I am embarrassed to admit how much time I've spent staring trying to figure out the slip/underwear situation
