Just thought I'd share how much stuff I've taken care of lately! This past Saturday, I bought my veil. Yesterday I visited 3 florists with my mother and future mother in law and I am pretty sure we decided on one, just need to physically sign the contract!Today I scheduled engagement photos. Yay!The only things I have left to do are invites (going on 9/14 to do this) and transportation, which I haven't really figured out yet.

    COngrats on the checks jordan!! Where'd you get your veil from? I'm trying to find someplace reasonable to purchase from but they are all like $200+. Yikes!

    I got it from adrienne's where I also got my dress, because I got my dress there they gave me 20% discount so i got it for like just about $200. I heard there is a woman in tri-county flea market that does them cheap though - you should try and find out.

    Congrats on the checks. I had the best time at my florist appts. We also are stuck on transportation, they are all basically the same price for what we would like.

    I also need to find shoes - I am looking for purple shoes and finding it impossible to find something i like, in my size, etc. without having to resort to dyeables

    Ooh I will definitely check them out. And they offered us no discounts. =( Have you tried DSW, endless.com, piperlime.com, zappos.com for the purple shoes? Endless.com is usually my best bet!
