Wedding Venue

We are looking for a backyard style wedding venue in the greater Cleveland area. We would like to do our own food, preferably a pig roast. We are also interested in bringing our own alcohol. Does anyone have any suggestions? We would like this to be as simple as possible. Thank you!

    I went to a wedding at Conrad Botzum farm near Akron this fall. It's a very simple but beautiful setting. Not sure what the food/drink policy is, but this reception was a barbecue buffet.

    Check with your local city to see what city owned properties are for rent. Also Lake Metroparks, Geauga Parks, and Cleveland Metroparks have nice buildings available for rent. Not sure about Geauga & Cleveland Metroparks rules, but for Lake Metroparks, you can bring booze, you just have to pay for a ranger to be there during the event then. If you don't mind traveling a bit out east check out SNPJ Farm.
