People at my church seem to dislike, ignore and try to get away from me, especially this one girl who was about to leave on a trip so this was her last week at church for a while, so at the end of the service she went around to everyone in the room and hugged and said goodbye to them. She did this with everyone except me. Why is that? Why would she just completely pass over me.. And when I walked out to say bye she just ignored me. I have asked in the past if I did or said anything to upset or offended her but she said no everything is fine. Then why does she just ignore and try to get away from me? The Starbucks near me was closed on Thanksgiving, so I walked three miles to another coffee shop I go to because they had posted about having a coupon deal there like last year only to find out they RAISED the price of the deal from last year, and they couldn't tell me why!

  • Awww ! That's horrible. Although she says everything is fine, there is evidently something there that's bothering her. Honestly, I know it may difficult to ignore the tension, but I would ignore it because if she sees that you are constantly following and trying to figure it out, it will become a game and/or expected, kind of like you are following her and begging for her attention. Just fall back. She will eventually voice her reason to, if not you , someone else, if she hasn't already.
  • Maybe she didn't like it when you showed up at her wedding in a park uninvited?

Is this a new version to the other church friend complaint? Jashley?

  • Yikes... I've only told one other person on TK this, but Jashley (whose name isn't Ashley, if you were wondering) posted a few months ago on a cross stitch group about the SAME DAMN THING she was talking about in 2013 or whenever it was. The same wedding issue. Telling everyone how she was excluded and she was the only one from her church. On a freakin' needlework facebook group!

After I saw that, I googled and read as much as I could stand, and she seemed pretty burned by all of the hate she got on her the 1,000,000 internet forums she posted on, so I have no idea why she'd try TK again. That makes me think OP isn't her. But it definitely sounds like her!

  • Is the starbucks thing a related complaint to the church ppl hating you complaint? What an odd statement to tack on to the end like it's all part of the same issue!

Unless OP thinks that starbucks likes everyone but her too?

Starbucks hates everyone equally, they show it with that God awful swill they serve to people while trying to claim it's "coffee".

Ha, this reminded me of when I suggested to my elderly uncle that his views 'might' be considered racist and he said it wasn't possible as he hated everyone equally. He really stressed the everyone in that statement!

  • Welcome back Jashley!

The troll uses the wifi at Starbucks because she doesn't have access at home.

  • I think the best part about this whole post is the fact that it's posted in backyard chicken groups, skateboard groups, and on the yelp forums! I didn't even know people used the yelp forums!
